Learning, Laughing, and Catching at the CBBT
After picking up a few extra lures at the local tackle shop we headed to the Lynnhaven Inlet Ramp. On Saturday, Jan 6, 2007, the weather was warm, as it had been all week, with air temperatures over 70. I've been fishing, not guiding, all week and this was my first time out with Tom Palm, Capt. John Deering, Brian Whalen, and Ron. Palm Pilot's Grady White boat had plenty room to fish from and I can't thank him enough for inviting me to go along.

What a Nice Fight This 42" Striper Gave Me

The water temperature was 53 degrees at the end of the day. There will be some outstanding striped bass fishing at the CBBT in weeks to come.
SPECIAL THANKS: To Tom Palm, Brian Whalen, Capt. John Deering, and Ron for spending some quality fishing time with me. We all stayed in a nice individual home located one block of off Virginia Beach and shared many fish stories, techniques, locations, good food, and many laughs. Thanks fellows.
