Light Tackle & Fly Fishing the Chesapeake Bay

Dad's Priceless Fathers Day

After finished cleaning my boat from Saturdays trip on the Middle Chesapeake Bay, I was a bit tired, no I was reel tired, as I finally sat down in my recliner, put my feet up, enjoying the memories of the trip.

The phone rang as Aldo was asking about my availability on fathers day.  We discussing the particulars of the variety of trips I now offer and he selected the 1/2 Day Special Family Oriented Trip.  This trip consists of bottom fishing and touring the Patapsco Rivers many historical sites.  We were meeting at the Rusty Scupper Restaurant, off of Key Highway, on Sunday, 06/17/07, at 7AM.  Knowing how delicious their Sunday brunch was, and that Aldo was looking for a place to eat, I called and made reservations for 4, with seating facing the Patapsco River.

A Nice Location to Meet-With 24 Hour Parking in Front of the Restaurant

The 1st Fish, and a Double at That, was Caught by Aldo, Jr.

Andre Wasted No Time Catching His First Double

Amy Wasn't Far Behind

The Whole Family Catching at the Same Time

The Buoy is where Our National Anthem Was Written with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in the Background

As the faces show, this was a very enjoyable trip for everyone, especially dad on Fathers Day, as his face beams with pride while sitting with his wonderful family.

And a very special day for the captain, to have been in company of such a nice family.  Thanks (left to right) Amy, Andre, Aldo Jr., and Aldo for sharing your trip with me.
