I was joined by Steve Schuman, Steve Drazin, and Joel Jacobs.  There were small craft warnings posted for the CBBT so we drove my boat across to Lynnhaven Roads and stayed in the backwaters searching for speckled trout.  The most productive lure was a 4", Bass Assassin, Split Tail Shad rigged on a 1/2 ounce jighead.

Technique:
Cast the lure out and let the current move it to the back of the boat before starting to jig it back slowly.

I fished with John Keeler and Bill Kassakatis.  The winds were strong and it started raining around 10am.  We fished until 12pm in the back bays of Lynnhaven Roads.  The winds stayed strong all day and we could not cross the CBBT while trailing my boat.

Special Thanks:
To Jamie Johnson for allowing me to keep my boat at his house on the west side of the CBBT.

Small craft warnings were posted for the CBBT today so we fished the back bays of Lynnhaven Roads for puppy drum and speckled trout.  Action was slow as the cold front passed, but some nice trout were caught.
