Perch Jerking With An Ice Fishing Rod (Bait or Light Jigging Spoons)

                    Bear Paw Flicker Snelled Hooks, Size #4, Long Shank, with Chartreuse Spinners & Red Beads
                    1' 10# Monofilament Line
                    1 - Various Size Bell Sinker (1/2 oz to 1 1/2 oz)

TECHNIQUE:  Start drifting over a structure, such as a oyster bed, open the bail and let enough line out so the weight hits the the bottom.  Let some additional line out so during the drift the sinker will be jigged of the bottom.  Close the bail, put the rod tip just above the water and start jigging the bait by moving the rod tip from 9 to 10 o'clock.  Do this throughout the drift or until a white perch is hooked.
