My Testimonial on Specialized Baits

Li’l Jimy Traditional Pattern (TP), one of the many lures made by Specialize Baits, is a high quality fish catching lure right out of the package. No plastic trailer is needed. While using it at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (CBBT), on light spinning tackle, I caught over 40 striped bass, ranging up to 38", and the lure still looked like it was just removed from the package.

I would cast it out, let it hit the bottom, jig it 3 to 4 times off the bottom then back. If there were no stripers deep I started moving it up through the water columns, jigging it twice each 5 cranks on the reel handle.

When on fish, and using this technique, the catching ratio was outstanding (more catching than fishing). I had no problem with hooks-ups do to the high quality hooks supplied with this lure.

The long synthetic 2 tone tail with the added flash is all that was needed to lure the stripers into biting.
